Reggae Night

On Saturday night we went to James Island County Park with Kevin and Christina. They had a Reggae band and lots of good food and fun. Grace just loves events like this because she gets to be outside and see lots of dogs & kids. She especially enjoyed all the glow in the dark items that were being sold. We started out with a necklace...

and then she saw someone with one of these, and just had to have it. I think Kevin had just as much fun with it as she did...until it broke.

Then we exchanged it for a flashing necklace.

Our New House

We put an offer on this house last week and it was accepted! It is located in Rivertowne on the Wando in Mt. Pleasant. We are supposed to close on September 17th.

Wolf Laurel

This past weekend we went to Wolf Laurel in North Carolina with the whole Rogers family. We had lots of fun spending time with family and friends. The trip was sort of a reunion of families that used to vacation together at Sunset beach. It was nice to have all the families together, especially the Slatni family who are here visiting from France. Grace really enjoyed playing with Savannah who is just a few months younger than her. Wish we could have stayed longer! Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Back to School

Grace and I both survived our first week back to school! She cried a little bit the first day back, but by today she was walking in the room ready to start her day. Today her class had an "end of summer" party and the ice cream man made a visit. I'd say she is adjusting well, but still doesn't like waking up early (who does?). I'm ready to start this school year, but already looking forward to spending next summer with Grace and her sister (It will also be nice to have a break from school when the baby arrives!).

New York Visit

We had a very relaxing and fun week in New York. It was great to spend time with family and friends! Grace really enjoyed seeing her nana & papa, cousins, aunts and uncle and of course the dogs! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Friday night we went out to eat in the city with Kristen and Jen. After dinner we went to a concert in the park at Lincoln Center. It was a lots of fun, even though the GPS got the designated driver lost on the way home.
