The week before Thanksgiving was lots of fun, but also a little crazy! We had field trips, field day, Thanksgiving feasts, Thanksgiving performances, birthdays and just lots of fun all slammed into one week. We made it through and the girls and I loved having the whole Thanksgiving week off from school this year! The girls went to art camp for three days in the morning, which gave me some time to work on my National Board papers. It took A LOT of will power not to go shopping, clean the house or go for a run while I was kid free for three hours each day, but I feel like I got something accomplished. Here are some pictures from the past two weeks...
So thankful for these two!!!
She was thankful for her sister Grace...
(So glad I was able to steal sissy from school
so she could hear her say that on stage...)
Field day at our school is like no other. Each class represents a country and we have an opening ceremony and parade. Grace's class represented Italy, I love their spaghetti and meatball hats! So thankful that I get to witness these special events at school...
This little one had strep throat, which took two trips to the doctor to diagnose.
Then she had some type of bite on her leg (spider?) and had to have it drained.
She was taken off her reflux medicine and we are hoping things go OK, she sure is a trooper! So thankful that my kids are usually healthy!!
