Girls Weekend

My parents arrived on Saturday and my mom and I took the girls to Myrtle Beach on Sunday. We stayed at Dunes Village which has a small indoor water park. The girls loved the lazy river and Grace liked the slide. We had a blast swimming, walking around Broadway at the Beach, playing on the beach and going to the Ripley's Aquarium.

We saw the Easter Bunny!
Grace loved all the rides!

Lily loved them too!

My little dare devil asked to jump on this and I had to let her go for it. She loved it and wanted to do it again when her turn was over. You should have seen her waiting in line with all those big kids!

This weekend...

We ate lunch at Chick-fil-A.
We love this place even more because Lily can now climb up and go down the slide all by herself! Grace was so excited the first time she did it and is really good about keeping an eye on her little sister as she climbs up with all the big kids. Lily worked up an appetite on the slide and ate all her ice cream afterwards. She then begged Grace to share hers...

We played outside (and ran around like crazy little girls).Lily is really fast- you should see those little legs move!
We took a ride on our neighbor's golf cart, Grace loved it!

We played as sisters.
Lily has to have anything and everything that Grace has (and I think Grace enjoys this). She knows that if she asks for something, Lily will want it too. Here they are both playing with with their purses...

So happy!

Her new dance move...

That imagination is just a brewing - you should
hear the stories she comes up with these days!

The Cajun Festival

Saturday was one of those mornings that I never thought we would get out of the house, but we did and it was all worth it...

The weather was perfect for a day outside with good friends. The girls did great without naps and had fun being outside in the sun and listening to music.

Magic Kingdom

On Saturday we woke up and headed to Disney. We spent the day at Magic Kingdom with the Reale family. The weather was beautiful and we had such a great time, I just wish we could have stayed longer! It was a day full of memories...

The Girls with Belle
We went on lots of rides including the Tea Cups, Dumbo, Winie-the pooh, the carousel and It's a Small World. Grace and Lily loved the rides, Lily wasn't a huge fan of waiting in line. She did OK, especially with her cousins there to help entertain her.

Dumbo in Flight
It's a Small World was Grace's favorite, I think she loved
seeing all the little dolls and being in a boat...

Waiting in line with uncle Dennis

Lily's favorite was the carousel...
As we were leaving the park, we noticed that everyone was waiting for something - it was the parade! This was my favorite part because Grace was so excited to see all the characters (I think she might be getting over her fear at last)! She waved and called their names and just had the biggest smile on the whole time. Lily had given up at the point and fell asleep in the stroller, so she slept through all the excitement.

"Hi Goofy, Hi Donald Duck!"
"Dopey!"
