Birthday Party Fun...

We celebrated Lily's birthday on Sunday with a party at the house. We invited family and close friends (no school friends), which made it easy to relax and enjoy the day. Lily wanted a pumpkin theme (I was shocked when she chose this over princess). We had a great day full of halloween/fall fun! Poor Grace was sick on the day of the party, but she was such a trooper!

Birthday Timeline
(It amazes me how much a baby changes and grows!)

The weather was perfect and the kids had lots of fun playing outside and jumping on the jump castle (we have definitely gotten a lot os use out if it)!

I made some pumpkin shaped platters
(carrots/veggies, cantaloupe/fruit, and cheese/crackers)...

Witch's Hats...

and brooms (love Pinterest).

This one brought back memories of birthday parties back in my day...

The Birthday Girl!

I attempted face painting - the 3 year olds were happy with my work.

Pumpkin Patch

We had most of the Rogers in town this past weekend to celebrate Lily's birthday. After the disappointing football game, we took the girls to the pumpkin patch for some fun...

I don't know what it is about tractors, I just love them as a background...

FUN!
(I think the jumping pillow was the favorite,
we all eventually jumped - even Hannah!)

Without changing leaves and temperatures, the pumpkin patch just makes it seem like fall to me in the low country. We just might have to make one more trip there before Halloween...

Happy 4th Birthday Lily!

It is hard to believe that four years has already passed!
I remember the day we brought Lily home...
She was so precious and sweet and made our family of four complete.

At four years old Lily is usually always happy and full of energy. She is pretty independent, but has a temper and gets frustrated if she can't do something by herself. She loves to play babies, dress up like a princess, and ride her bike.
I asked Lily to tell me some of her favorites....
Food: Spaghetti and chocolate muffins
Cartoon: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Dessert: Chocolate and ice pops
Color: Pink
When she grows up she wants to be a mommy and a teacher.

Girls Weekend - Part 2

On Sunday we walked on the beach and the girls went
swimming in the pool (way too cold for the adults!).

Then we headed to Wonder Works (and it just so
happened to be teacher appreciation day, so we got in free.)

This place is great for older kids, but there
was also lots for the girls to see and do...

When we got back to our house the girls told daddy all about their weekend and we had an early birthday celebration for Lily. It is hard to believe she is almost 4, that sweet smile just melts my heart!

We loved spending time with you Nana!

Girls Weekend

My mom flew down on Saturday morning and we headed to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. It was so great to have her here! The weather was perfect for walking around Broadway at the Beach...

Ready for some fun!

These girls love some rides!!

My baby is getting to be such a big girl...
