I went into Grace's room the other morning to wake her up and this is what I saw...
It immediately reminded me of this picture and I just had to capture it. She looked so sweet laying there, so big and so small at the same time. I just can't believe she is already 5 and kindergarten is around the corner!
Grace loves to be around people , she is our little social butterfly! She loves to play on the computer, have dance parties, pretend, and read (she can read lots of words these days and is beginning to read simple books, she is ready for kindergarten!). She loves her dance class and has recently started gymnastics. She is still a pretty picky eater and has a sweet tooth, but loves broccoli!
She used to sleep like this when she was a baby too...
On Friday night we had a sleepover with the big girls on our block. Grace just loved it and they had a blast! We had a night full of crafts, dance parties and cookie decorating. We sang happy birthday in the morning and ate donuts.
On Tuesday, I went to her school to help her celebrate with her class. The class made her a book and each child had to tell what they like about Grace. Daddy was not so pleased with the book after reading that George likes Grace because "She is going to marry him" and Charlie like grace because "She goes on walks with him."
She had lots of fun and Lily even got to join us and help her blow out her candle.
Grace got a "big girl" scooter for her birthday and she loves it!
She also loved her cupcake necklace and Pete the Cat books.
She is looking forward to her party at The Little Gym this Saturday!
