An Early Birthday Celebration

We had a great time with my parents (Nana and Papa) while they were here visiting. On Friday night, we had an early birthday celebration for Grace. Her favorite food is bananas, so we helped her blow out her candle and have a few bites of banana pudding.
She opened her presents and had lots of fun playing with her baby doll and stroller.

Grace Loves Dogs

or should I say Ooo, Ooo's! Every time Grace see a dog, or even hears the word dog, she starts looking around and saying Ooo, Ooo (which may mean woof, woof, ???)
It's a good thing Bailey is used to being around lots of kids!

Happy Thanksgiving

Grace enjoyed her first Thanksgiving!
My parents came down for a visit and
we all went to Columbia for the day.
Grace had lots of people around that were very thankful for her!

Mimi and Nana

Grace can't wait to meet her cousin Ellie!

An Early Thanksgiving

The Masons invited us over on Monday night for an early Thanksgiving dinner. The food was great and Grace had fun playing with their niece Celeste. Pretty soon the Masons will have a new little friend for Grace. We are looking forward to her arrival!

Santa Claus

We got a little excited about the holiday season and took Grace to see Santa this weekend. She didn't cry when she sat on his lap, but wasn't too happy about it either. After the picture Santa started talking to her and she cried in his face. He took it well,
I guess he is used to it!

Birthday Dinner

Saturday night we went out to dinner with Kevin & Christina for Brooks' birthday. We enjoyed the sushi and Grace loved looking at the fish tank.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Grace had fun watching her daddy open his presents tonight. We thought she would be a little more interested in helping him open them since she loves tearing up magazines and newspapers. I guess she just wasn't in the mood tonight.

Bad Game, Good Company

Although the game on Saturday wasn't very fun to watch, Grace enjoyed the company! Brooks' parents came down on Saturday and we watched the game along with some friends.
As you can seem Grace is getting some more teeth!
She has one on top and a few more ready to pop out soon.

Kevin is such a natural!

Grace was well taken care of when I went out to dinner with some friends Saturday night. It was a fun"moms" night out!

Look Mom, No Hands

Grace has been getting very brave lately and "letting go" to stand on her own. She looks so proud of herself when she does it, and of course we clap every time. Hopefully it won't be long until she takes her first step with "no hands."
She loves to cruise along the couch and then show us how she can stand all by herself.

Computer Trouble

Our computer decided to finally die this weekend! Luckily I have most of my pictures of Grace backed up and/or still on my camera. Brooks and I are going computer shopping tonight, so hopefully I will be up and running soon. We are going crazy without the Internet at home.
Shh! I am doing this from school.
You don't realize how much you rely on the Internet these days until you have to go days with out it!

School Pictures

Grace took her first school pictures a couple of weeks ago. I am not too happy with the picture, but I had to buy it. The example background that the photographer showed was much cuter than this (it had hay and pumpkins and looked very "fall"). If I would have been there, I would have brushed her hair. Oh well...

Welcome to the Word!

Our friends, Ang and Ger, had a baby boy on Friday! Since we were in Columbia for the football game, we were able to go visit them at the hospital this morning. Boone is doing well and was able to go home today with his mommy and daddy. His big sister Piper is very excited!
Congratulations!
Sweet Little Boy
It is amazing to think that just about a year ago,
Grace was tinier than this!

A Win for the Gamecocks

This weekend Brooks and I went to the Carolina vs Tennessee game. The curse is officially broken! Carolina usually loses every time Brooks attends the game, but they pulled through with a great win on Saturday night. We had a great time hanging out with friends and family!
Grace stayed at home with Mimi and watched the game with
Uncle Clark, Aunt Kelly and Aunt Sallie.
On Sunday she still had the spirit and continued to cheer on the gamecocks with her pompom. Go Gamecocks!
