Busy, But Best Time of the Year...

Last weekend we squeezed in LOTS of holiday fun! We had an Alley Girl Sleepover on Friday and on Saturday the girls danced in a Christmas performance. Then we headed to Columbia for the annual Tootis Christmas party....

Grace's Birthday Party

Grace had her birthday party at the Ice Palace, it was of course a Frozen theme. She loved ice skating with all her friends, it was a fun celebration of my sweet girl!

She told everyone that both her grandma's would be at her party!
She is one loved little girl...

Happy 7th Birthday Grace!

Grace has been excited about her birthday for weeks!! She is officially seven. I am not much of a fan of birthdays because it means my babies are growing up and I am getting old, but I LOVE to celebrate their precious lives. At seven year old Grace is such a sweet and sensitive girl. She loves all holidays and traditions just like her mama and really. Grace likes to play cards, board games and use her imagination. She still loves to read, organize things and is really getting into legos. When she grows up she wants to be teacher, but she is not sure what grade  (you should see her play school in my room). I am so proud and lucky to be her mom, she is such a kind and smart little girl!

We can't wait to celebrate this girl all weekend!!

It's Beginning...

to look a lot like Christmas!! The day after Thanksgiving the girls and I unpacked Christmas. We stayed in our PJ's most of the day, listened to Christmas music and avoided Black Friday. They loved taking out our decorations, their plan was to take turns opening one thing at a time (they especially love the pictures from when they were babies and their Christmas books).
Proud of her tree she decorated all by herself.

Christmas Books are the Best

The girls wrote their letters to Santa.
Grace wishes for a Lego table, a Penny board (skateboard) and the game of Life. She is also hoping for a pottery wheel.

Lily wished for cough drops, a baby seat for her bike and a little Elsa castle. She is also hoping for a swing for her baby.

The girls had fun reading their letters to Santa and talking with him.

(I promise these pants are green, although they look yellow in the picture)

We decorated the tree together on Sunday. They loved looking at all the ornaments and asking where and when we got them and seeing some they made in the past.

This little one can hardly stand all the excitement of her upcoming birthday and Christmas in the air!

Snowflake is back to keep an eye on the girls...
