Grace's 2nd Christmas

      On Christmas Eve, we drove to Columbia to spend time with the Rogers family. We went to the Hill's house for some Brunswick stew and Grace had lots of fun playing with all their dogs. Grace didn't really get too excited about opening presents this year, but I think she had fun playing with her new toys. She did get a Wii from Booker and Mimi, which daddy will have to teach her how to play...hehe!

Getting Ready for Christmas

Grace has been feeling a little "under the weather" for the past few days with a cough. She has completely lost her appetite, but is still sleeping so I guess I can't complain too much. She has been enjoying all the decorations that come along with Christmas, especially the reindeer family we have outside. Every night when daddy comes home she points to the door and he takes her outside to look at them. It is really cute! 

She's been really good about not touching the tree. 

Hopefully I didn't speak too soon.

Here Comes Trouble

Welcome, Baby Clare!

Congratulations to our good friends Carol and Mark! 

Their beautiful daughter Clare arrived on December 9. 

Grace was not too sure what to think of Clare (especially when I was holding her), but I'm sure they will enjoy lots of play dates together when she gets a little older. 

Grace was much more interested in the dogs, especially Lucy who is just her size.

Grace's 1st Birthday Party

We had Grace's birthday party on Saturday. The theme was Strawberry Shortcake and I think she had lots of fun! She wasn't too excited about her cake, especially after I tried to put a party hat on her (that's when she decided to put it in her hair). Everyone enjoyed the oysters, barbeque and strawberry champagne.

Happy Birthday!

I just can't believe that Grace will be one years old tomorrow. This year has flown by! She has changed so much and is getting to be such a big girl. I'm looking forward to this year of her life and all the new things she will learn to do. Although I do hope this year goes by a little slower.
