More October Fun...

The girls have had lots of fun getting ready for Halloween. Daddy carved a pumpkin the other night and they loved playing withe gooey seeds.

Grace went to her first football game and had a so much fun!
She played with Booker before the game and had fun tailgating.
Daddy and his little cheerleader...
Her favorite part of the game was watching the flag get run up and down the sideline after every touchdown, good thing they made lots of them and won! She also liked watching the cheerleaders and the band. Thanks again Mimi for watching the game with Lily at home.

After the game we went to Saluda Shoals with the three beautiful princesses.
They had lots of fun on the hayride, making cookies, drinking hot chocolate, getting candy, and much more!
We are excited about dressing up and trick or treating with friends on Wednesday! Grace will be a cat and Lily might be a pink ballerina (she has changed her mind several times and likes to keep me on my toes). It's a good thing we have lots of dress up options!

Happy 3rd Birthday Lily!

I just can't believe how much Lily has grown up this year! At three years old she loves to color and do crafts, dress up, play babies, read books and ride bikes. She is independent, funny, sweet and brings so much joy to our family! We love you Lily...

Pumpkin Fun

Grace had her field trip to the pumpkin patch last week. Since I have already had to get a sub three times this year (which totals the days I was out last year for the whole year), I couldn't take off to chaperone. We were talking about the upcoming trip one night before bed and she asked her daddy if he could go. He pulled some stings and worked a half a day so he could be there, what a great dad!

We went to the pumpkin patch today after school to play (and also check out the party area for Lily's birthday ). The girls had a blast and can't wait to go back on Sunday!

Birthday Celebration #1

Just a few more days until we officially have a three and four year old in this house. Lily has accomplished so much this year and we are so proud of her! I love to drag out birthday celebrations, so we began Lily's on Saturday night.

Nana and the Birthday Girl
Lily requested a birthday crown, so I pulled this out from the closet.
Since the alley was full of kids, we invited all the girls to sing with us and have cupcakes. She was excited to hear everyone sing to her and blow out the candles.

Geting some help with her present from nana.

We are looking forward to celebrating with family on Saturday and heading to to the pumpkin patch on Sunday for her party!

The Zoo with Nana

My mom arrived on Friday night for a weekend visit. We decided to get up on Saturday and head to the Columbia zoo. It was such a beautiful day and we had lots of fun seeing all the animals!

Grace loved the carousel as usual. Lily will only sit on the bench of a carousel these days, I think it might be because she gets to sit on mommy's lap?? Nana cannot ride on a carousel so she watched and tried to wave without getting dizzy.
Lily's favorite part of the day was feeding the goats. I wish I had a video of her giggling every time the goat licked her hand! She was just too cute!!

Run for Rina

Last Saturday we attended the third annual Run for Rina. This event benefits the Rina Agriss Blair Foundation which was created to strengthen awareness and provide support in the fight against Melanoma. Our friend Christina created the foundation in honor of her sister and she did an amazing job with the event.

The girls had so much at the craft table & were entertained for hours.
They also loved racing each other in the potato sacks.

For mor information on melanoma or to learn more about this wonderful foundation visit:

We had lots of fun Saturday night watching the Gamecocks win!

Daddy had a smile on his face for days...
We are looking forward to a weekend visit from nana and more football fun.
