Go Gamecocks!

Grace had fun watching the football game with daddy on Saturday. Mark, who is expecting a baby girl in December, came over to watch the game with them. They gave me the night off and I went out to dinner with some friends (Jackie and Rhonda).

Thanks for the adorable uniform Janet!

Daddy is not to happy about Grace already showing off her belly.

Watch Me Go!

Grace is officially on the move! She is pretty content to sit and play in one spot, unless she sees something she really wants. I had to drop the remote control (one of her favorite "toys") to get her to crawl for the video.

Rub a Dub Dub...

Grace is in a tub!
I decided to take Grace to get her picture taken last week when I only had a half day of school due to the hurricane scare. She did a great job and the lady was able to get a few good shots.

This one is definitely going in the bathroom.
She will kill me for these when she is a teenager, but I think they are adorable!

Weekend in Columbia

This past weekend we went to Columbia for the football game. Although the Gamecocks lost, Brooks and I had a great time tailgating with our friend's Kevin and Mark. We were able to catch up with lots of friends that we haven't seen in a while. Grace stayed home and out of the heat with Brook's parents and the rest of the family. She had lots of fun being part of the crowd and cheering for the Gamecocks.Once again, she was entertained by Cyra and Jackson. Grace never gets tired of dogs!

Books

As most of you know, Brooks loves to read...
and it looks like Grace is following in his footsteps!
She has loved to sit in our laps and listen to books for quite
some time, but know she also likes to get into her books by herself.

She loves any book that has flaps to lift up...and pat the bunny is always a hit.

9 Month Check-Up

Grace had her 9 month appoinment today...
She is growing up so fast!
Here are her stats:
Height ~ 261/4 inches (10th percentile)

Weight ~ 16lb 9 oz (15th percentile)

Head Circumference ~ 43 cm (25th percentile)
She is still a peanut, but her doctor said she is growing nicely.

She was pretty happy throughout the appointment until the nurse stuck her finger for her hemoglobin test.

The band-aid took her mind off of the pain and she played with it all the way home.

Labor Day Weekend

My parents arrived on Wednesday and spent Labor Day weekend with us. Grace had a break from daycare and had lots of fun with her Nana and Papa while Brooks and I were at work. They bragged about how good she was and how friendly she is to people in public. Here are some pictures from the week... Grace had fun driving her car and helped Nana walk their dog Bailey. On Saturday we spent the day on the boat.
Here are some pictures of Grace getting ready for the day. Unfortunately I forgot my camera that day, so no pictures of her swimming. Grace had lots of fun in the water and enjoyed watching all the dogs play on the beach.
After lots of practice, Nana taught Grace a new trick.
How big is Grace? Sooo Big!
I can't promise that she will remember it, but we will keep practicing.
