Christmas Eve...

Breakfast (love Pinterest!)

We baked and decorated cookies for Santa.

We played with neighbors and their new trampoline.

We watched Polar Express and used REAL mugs.

The girls stayed in PJ's ALL day (even though the PJ's changed a few times).

We opened presents...

We ate some delicious food. I have to give a shout out to Brooks for making Shrimp and Grits - Yum! He has worked so much these past few days, love this guy!!
 We smiled.
 We danced to Christmas music.
We put reindeer food in the alley.
Lily pretended to be Santa and asked everyone what they wanted.
We set out milk and cookies for Santa.

We gave air hugs to Snowflake and said one last goodbye.

We tucked in the girls and are they excited to see what Santa brings in the morning! We are looking forward to spending time with the Rogers on Christmas and then the girls and I are flying to NY :)

Reindeer Food and Santa Sleigh Ride

Today we made reindeer food, the girls loved hearing what each ingredient was for and are both looking forward to pouring it outside tomorrow night. Grace is very curious about Santa and Reindeer and sure does keep me on my toes with all her questions!

Tonight we headed downtown for a carriage ride with Santa. The girls had lots of fun and really enjoyed singing Christmas Carols with Santa...

SISTERS!

 Roasting marshmallows after the ride...

Tis the Season...

We had a great time at the Mount Pleasant Christmas parade this year! The girls loved seeing all the floats and hanging out with our neighbors. Grace loved dancing in the street and Lily was just so excited about everything she saw, it was too cute! Of course Santa was a big hit at the end of the parade.

Some pictures before the parade...

Ready for the parade...

We also had lots of fun at James' Christmas party and loves seeing lots of family and friends.

Love this dress...

The girls have had lots of fun finding Snowflake every morning. She has gotten into some mischief and they just thing it's sooo funny.

We decorated a gingerbread house with our neighbors and the girl did a great job! I think I might need to buy one for myself next year too.

Lily's Side...

Grace's Side...
I am really looking forward to taking the girls downtown tomorrow night for a carriage ride with Santa! They don't know about it yet, so I can't wait to surprise them!

Festival of Lights

We had lots of fun again this year seeing all the lights and walking around James Island County Park.

The train ride around the park was a favorite!

Posing for Pictures

Grace also loved rock climbing this year, such a big girl!

We did the Merry Go Round quite a few times and the girls ran into some friends from school which made it even more fun!

Smores were delicious!
We had lots of fun checking this off our Holiday Fun to-do list!

Holiday Fun...

I just LOVE this time of year. It is so much fun to see the Christmas season through the eyes of a child and I feel so lucky to have two precious girls to share it with! As a second grade teacher it is exhausting with all the excitement in the air, but who else gets to go to work and make crafts, hear stories of mischievous elves and listen to children sing holiday songs! At our house we jumped into the holiday season the day after Thanksgiving, Grace just couldn't wait to empty the boxes in our garage and see all the things that remind her of this time of year. After decorating the house we headed to the Towne Center to see Santa!

My Girls

Silly Girls
This year went well with Santa - No Tears! Grace asked Santa for an American Doll, she wants Mckenna, the gymnast. Lily asked for "a boy and a girl"....She saw a picture of the Bitty Twins in a magazine and fell in LOVE! She just loves being a mommy.

2011
Grace just couldn't wait to decorate the tree, she just loves looking at each ornament and listening to Christmas music as we put them on. Lily got into this year also and only broke two ornaments in the process.
Getting Excited!

Oh Christmas Tree

Lily loves this Santa and
carries it around like her baby.

They did a great job with the tree!
