Happy Halloween

Lily's First Halloween
I think I had more fun than she did, dressing
her up in all her Halloween outfits...

Nana & Papa
Brooks and I took Grace to the neighborhood Halloween party. Grace had lots of fun hanging out with the big girls. The only costume she was afraid of was a big Christmas present. I'm thinking pictures with Santa is probably not going to happen this year...
Brooks may need to visit Santa because he already knows what he wants:

I stayed home with Lily while Brooks, Nana and Papa took Grace trick-or-treating. She had fun and is officially hooked on candy, especially chocolate.

Having Fun With Papa and Nana

So far life with two kids has been great! Lily is a such a good baby and Grace is being a great big sister. Nana and Papa have been keeping Grace very busy and she just loves all the attention. Here are a few pics from the week:

Lily's First Play Date

While Grace was out having fun with Nana and Papa, Lily had some visitors. Her friend Lauren came over to "play." Lauren is 3 months old and I'm sure these two girls will have lots of fun together when they get a little older.
Taylor and Benjamin had lots of fun playing with Grace's toys.
We look forward to many more play dates in the future...

Go Gamecoks!

Although Lily slept through most of it, she looked cute for her first Carolina football game. Grace had fun looking for Cocky and was excited for her sister to wear her cheerleading outfit.
Here are a few pictures of our sweet Carolina girls...

Welcome Home Lily!

We brought Lily home from the hospital yesterday.
It is great to have her home!
Grace has done really well with Lily so far,
she just keeps saying "Lily home."
Lily is such a good baby. She woke up to eat every few hours last night, but hasn't cried much. The only time she cries is when we change her diaper and she gets cold.

We are so lucky to have such helpful and supportive families! Mimi and Booker did a great job taking care of Grace while I was in the hospital. They left this morning and about 5 minutes later my parents arrived. Grace is really enjoying all the extra special attention from her grandparents and I am enjoying the help.

Visitors

Lily had lots of visitors tonight.
It was great to be able to introduce our new little one to some friends!

Lily Brooks
It is amazing how much Lily looks like Grace when she was born! It will be fun to see how she changes over the next couple weeks/months. I've had a great day just holding her, feeding her and watching her sleep. Mimi brought Grace to see her sister again today. I think she had more fun eating my food and jumping around the room than she did looking at Lily.

Big sister Grace came to the hospital to meet her. I'm not sure what she thinks about her yet, it will interesting to see how she reacts when we bring her home!
