Back to School

Here we go...
We have really enjoyed our summer schedule and sleeping in, but back to school we go.

This year the girls are going doing dance and gymnastics after school. Lily wants to do soccer, but we are going to wait until the spring and hopefully be able to sign her up then. Lily has been enjoying school and really wants to learn how to read like her sister. She loves to sing and play outside and says she wants to be an artist when she grows up.

Grace had a great first day in first grade. She has three girls from kindergarten in her class and her teacher is really enthusiastic and fun, Grace loves her already (even though she is a Clemson fan)! Grace just loves school and wants to learn more about math, she says she wants to be a veternarian when she grows up.

I can't believe my babies will be 5 and 7 this year, they are growing up way too fast. I love watching them play babies together (when they get along) and trying to answer all their questions like: How do you know when a you have a baby in your belly? I'm hoping they make some good friends this year and continue to love learning. I think it is going to be a great year for all of us!

Flower Girl

We unpacked and repacked and headed to Asheville last Friday for the Michael wedding. Rebekah and Josh spend a week with us in Edisto every summer and the girls just love them, so we were excited to be part of their wedding weekend. The rehearsal dinner was at Tupelo Honey, the bee theme was just too cute.

Daddy's Girl

I just can't get enough of that dimple...

On Saturday we walked around Ashville and and tried to pass the time while we waited for all the other Rogers to arrive (the girls wanted to just wait at the hotel door so that they could see everyone the second they got there).

Hooray, Mimi's here!

Lily and I spent some time in the bridal suite getting ready for her flower girl duties. She blew this whistle about 1,000 times, good thing she looked so cute or we may have been kicked out.

Beautiful Bride

When it was time for pictures it started to drizzle.
Rebekah was prepared and bought all the girls rain boots
and umbrellas which made for some really fun pictures...

Rebekah's grandmother sewed this dress and
she wore it in a wedding when she was four.

Lily did great at pictures and walked
down the aisle, I was very proud of her!

After pictures she was ready to have fun with ALL the girls...

Cousins

Sisters

The wedding was so much fun and there was lots of entertainment!
I think the favorite was the drums...

Stealing a Hug

My Love

Can you believe she posed with the tiger that showed up to the wedding? Daddy was much happier when she started chasing him and pulling on his tail after this.

Congratulations Rebekah and Josh, we are so happy for you both!
