SUMMER...

My favorite time of year!! We have been enjoying lots of play dates, later bedtimes, swimming at the pool, riding bikes, and having the freedom to do whatever we want on any given day.

Summer is...

spending time outside in THE ALLEY,

grilling with neighbors,

flip flops and chalk.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Daddy's Day Brooks! We love you and appreciate all you do for us. Happy Father's Day to Booker, Papa, Poppy and Grandpa too! We are so lucky to have all these wonderful men in our lives!!

Dance Recital

Grace performed in her first dance recital on Sunday. She was a Dancing Pup and did a great job performing on that big stage. Mimi and Booker were able to come watch her and we video taped it for everyone else. We are having some trouble getting the video on here, so I will post it as soon as we figure out the problem.

Grace was a little moody on the day of the recital (no nap for two days because the rehearsal and recital were both during that time), so I didn't get many cute pics from that day. Also, the pics I took of her on stage are a little blurry. So, the other day she was stalling her nap and I suggested taking some pictures in her costume. She was all about it...

Our family photo came out much better last year, but I'm glad we have this one because it is a rare shot. The beach was VERY windy, so lots of hair was flying (and Grace was not really in the picture taking mood).

Sunset Beach ~ Cousins...

It was so much fun for the girls to spend a whole week together. The most we usually get is one or two nights, so this was a treat! Lily called Elizabeth (A-ba-ba-ba) all week and wanted to know where she was at all times. Elizabeth did so great sharing her parents as Lily fell in love with Uncle Clark and Aunt Kelly too. Grace had a blast and just loves being around lots of family and friends. She enjoyed living in a house full of people - I think there were 17 people at one point which is right up her alley. We are already dreaming of Sunset Beach 2012...

Vacation...

We headed to Sunset Beach in North Carolina last week for a vacation with the Rogers family and lots of friends. We had a great time playing on the beach and spending time together.
