Columbia Fun

On Saturday we headed to Columbia to
spend the afternoon with the Rogers.

The girls had fun dancing and cheering...

We sang happy birthday to Mimi...

We went to Nathan and Julia's wedding celebration.
It was lots of fun, congratulations to the newlyweds! Grace had a sleepover with Elizabeth and Lily got some extra attention from Mimi and Booker since she was getting over a little virus. Thanks to all, we enjoyed our time out (even though we didn't make it very late).

On Sunday we spent the afternoon at
the zoo with all the Rogers, so fun!

Getting tired, but happy that Aunt Sallie will hold her...

The Strawberry Festival

Berry Cute...

So Sassy!

They had a blast on the rides!

This was the favorite! The man running the ride heckled them and asked them not to scream, so of course there were lots of screaming and giggling kids...

Girls Weekend

Brooks went to the mountains for a bachelor party this weekend, so it was just us girls. I went to Grace's field trip @ Thornhill Farm on Friday (can you tell she is excited to have her mom there). It is the first one I have been on, so it was pretty special.

Luckily the rain held off and the kids had a blast
planting seeds and feeding the animals.

Here they are playing simon says (and doing the washing machine).

On Saturday these little entrepreneurs decided to start their own lemonade stand. How could you resist these cute girls? They had LOTS of customers!

On Sunday I took these princesses to see a
play/musical about Rapunzel.

My Little Mermaid

Sweetness!

We went with some girls from Grace's class and the twins.
They really enjoyed the show (and so did I)!

Spring Break

We had such a fun and relaxing week!
Here are some of the highlights...

Grace hid eggs for all the girls, they had fun "hunting" for them!
Silly Lily

We played outside a lot...

and had picnic lunches.

I took all the alley girls on a bike ride. We ended up at the dock and didn't have the key, so the little girls squeezed through the fence and I climbed over. We had a dance party on the dock,

and then watched the beautiful sunset!

The Alley Girls

We enjoyed play dates at the park...

and at our house.

We met baby Bennett, such a cutie!

Lily had a birthday party at the Fire Station.

We ended the break with a day at the Cajun Festival...

Love my Girls!

Bee City

The girls and I had lots of fun over spring break (poor Brooks was at work, I really wish he could enjoy these breaks with us)! On Monday we had a relaxing day at home playing with neighbors. On Tuesday the weather was perfect and I decided to take the girls to do something different. We hopped in the car (and brought along our neighbor Ellie) and drove to Bee City (about an hour away in Cottagville). I had heard great things about it, and it exceeded my expectations. There were lots of animals to touch and feed, and the girls just had a blast. I think I liked it so much because the girls were just so happy that day. They weren't tired from having to wake up early for school, we weren't in a rush to get anywhere on time, it was a day I think I will remember for a while. Bee City does have a little building where you can see some bees (behind glass) and they do sell honey, but here are some pictures of what we liked about it...
