Easter Sunday

We headed to Columbia on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Easter with The Rogers. The Easter Bunny delivered Grace and Lily their baskets at Mimi and Booker's house. Grace loved her "lipstick" the best, Lily loved the chocolate best.

I attempted some pictures of the girls all dressed up before church. Grace held on to that "lipstick" and because the Easter Bunny didn't bring Lily any, I had to give her some of mine...

Booker and the Girls

Easter 2011

After church, the girls had fun hunting for eggs again...

Then we enjoyed a delicious lunch with all the Rogers.
Thank you Mimi and Booker for the wonderful meal!

The girls had fun spraying water everywhere. This picture cracks me up - they are both looking at Lily like, "What are you doing?".

While Lily was napping, Grace and Elizabeth hunted for eggs...again.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday!

On the go bunny...

Grace enjoyed meeting the "real" Easter Bunny on Saturday at the Walgreens easter egg hunt. She gave him a high five and wanted to follow him around. She wasn't quite ready to sit on his lap for a picture though. Lily liked waving and saying, "hi bunny" from a distance.

Easter Activities

My parents left today when the girls took their nap. I decided to do all the fun Easter activities when they woke up because I knew they would be disappointed with no more visitors in the house...I got everything ready while they were sleeping - the smell of that vinegar brought back memories of decorating eggs as a child...

Ready for Eggs

Can I eat them?

Lily colored lots of yellow eggs.
I figured this was the color that would stain the least...

Grace had fun using all the colors and although this activity
was messy, it went much better than I thought it would.

She also had fun painting the eggs with these little dye filled Q-tips.

The finished product...
(only two eggs were dropped which was much less than I imagined)

Lily go tired of eggs, so I gave her some stickers.
She really doesn't know how to use them, but she pretends to
stick them on the paper just like her big sis, so cute.

Decorating Easter Cupcakes
I pushed the limit and tried to do this while Lily was awake.
We had to put them away when she saw all the sprinkles and M&M's.
Grace and I had fun doing this activity once she was sound asleep.

Spring Break

I think I forgot to mention that while the girls were having fun in Myrtle Beach, the men did lots of yard work - THANKS! They also made time for baseball, beer and ribs.

Papa and The Girls

The rest of the week was full of fun outings. Here are some pictures from our visit to the Children's Museum:

Girls Weekend

My parents arrived on Saturday and my mom and I took the girls to Myrtle Beach on Sunday. We stayed at Dunes Village which has a small indoor water park. The girls loved the lazy river and Grace liked the slide. We had a blast swimming, walking around Broadway at the Beach, playing on the beach and going to the Ripley's Aquarium.

Lily loved them too!

My little dare devil asked to jump on this and I had to let her go for it. She loved it and wanted to do it again when her turn was over. You should have seen her waiting in line with all those big kids!
