Maggie Valley and SNOW

Two weeks ago Brooks and I spent a weekend in North Carolina with some good friends. Mimi and Booker watched the girls and they had lots of fun playing with their cousins and spending time with family. It was so nice to get away (and sleep in) and spend some time with just adults. We enjoyed adult beverages (and didn't have to worry about bedtimes), listened to adult music (not the Disney station), played adults games (instead of babies and princess) and it was very relaxing! I love my girls a ton, but every now and then a break is appreciated...

Love you Brooks!

A big THANK YOU to Mimi and Booker for watching the girls!

Last weekend we went to Snow Day. The girls have been wanting to see snow ever since our trip to NY. I was feeling a little guilty that we saw snow in the mountains, so I took the girls (and made plans to meet lots of friends there) and they had a blast.

There wasn't as much snow as we anticipated, but they still were able to make snowballs and have a snowball fight

Lily really loved the snow! She even tried to take some home.

The line for this was pretty long, so we only got to do it once. Grace almost chickened out, but after waiting in the line I pumped her up and she did it all by herself. They both LOVED it and it was free (thanks to the town of Mt. Pleasant)!

Weekend of Celebrations

We went to Columbia last weekend to celebrate two special girls. On Saturday we celebrated Elizabeth's 4th birthday. The girls had a blast at her gymnastics party, they just love playing and spending time together! They are now officially 3-4-5 (although Elizabeth is now taller than Grace!).

NYC

The day before we headed back to SC, we spent the day in NYC. We started with a big family lunch which was delicious! Then we toured the city and went went to see the tree, Toys R Us, the M&M store, The American Girl Store, and St. Patricks Cathedral. It was a great day!

I forgot my camera battery charger, so I couldn't take as many pics as I wanted this trip. Thanks to Danielle and Kristen for sending me some great shots! We had so much fun and miss everyone already!

New York Visit

The day after Christmas we flew to NY to spend some time with family. The girls did a great job on the plane, this was my first time flying without a lap child which was wonderful. We had lots fun with family and friends, here are some pictures from our trip...

Christmas Day...

SANTA DELIVERED! The girls were so excited to go down the stairs together and see what Santa brought them. Their favorite gifts were just what they asked for:

Grace loves McKenna and all her little outfits and shoes.

Lily loves her "boy and girl."
She named her girl Elizabeth and her boy baby James.

What a good Mama!
(although she definitely gives more attention to her girl)

Super Girls with their Matching Capes
(Grace loves her doll and will correct you if you call it a "baby")

So Happy!
After opening presents and stockings, we packed the car and headed to Columbia to spend time with the Rogers. Here are a few pics from Christmas Day...
