Memorial Day Weekend

We sure did enjoy our three day weekend! Nana arrived late Friday night and we headed to the water park on Saturday morning. The girls loved the slide and the lazy river (we are excited about lots of play dates there this summer)! We also spent lots of time at the pool and playing outside.

On Sunday, Brooks and I went to Water's Edge to celebrate our 6th anniversary. The food was delicious and we had a great night out (thanks for babysitting nana).

Summer vacation officially starts on Friday for us and we

are excited to kick it off with a week in Sunset Beach with the Rogers!

We spent the weekend on Kiawah Island celebrating the marriage of two great friends, Kevin and Christina. It was a beautiful weekend and we were honored to be a part of their special day. Thanks to Mimi and Booker for coming with us to help take care of the girls.

While staying on Kiawah we were able to enjoy the beautiful beach. Lily got to spend some extra time playing in the sand with Mimi and Booker while Grace was at the wedding with us.

The girls all got ready together on the morning of the wedding. Grace just loves Christina, her niece Reyla and all her friends. She had so much fun hanging out and being a part of everything.

My Little Runner

I ran a 5k at my school a couple weeks ago. My friend Jodi puts together the Hawk Trot every year to raise money for the the school and running club. I always planned on running lots of road races once I had kids, then I realized how busy life gets with kids and have only run three since having Grace. Grace was supposed to run the kids run, but ended up with strept throat. Lily took her place and loved every minute of it. Although she couldn't keep up with the big kids, she had lots of fun and looked so cute crossing the finish line!

Happy Mother's Day

Brooks and I are so lucky to have two of the greatest moms I know (and Grace and Lily couldn't ask for a better nana and mimi)! We appreciate all you did and continue to do for us and our girls.

Brooks went out of town this weekend for Kevin's bachelor party (I did give him a hard time about it, but I just know he is going to let me sleep in this Sunday). The girls made my weekend very special, here is what they made for me at school:
