St. Patricks Day Weekend

The Alley girls love holiday traditions.
Every year we make leprechaun traps together.
(It's silly, but fun and creative)

Wearing their Green

Mim and Booker came for a visit on Saturday. We had lots of outside fun in the beautiful weather (a golf cart ride, St. Patrick's Day party, Play-Doh fun, basketball and listening to the Gamecocks baseball game).

On Sunday we were back to cold and rainy, so we spent all day inside (reading books, playing games and watching shows). We loved having Mimi and Booker here and are looking forward to seeing all the Rogers in a few weeks!

Circus Fun!

Grace has been reading and learning all about the circus at school.
So when the circus came to town it was perfect timing...

There was so much to see at the circus, wish I would have gotten
a shot of the look on their faces as they watched all the amazing acts.

They loved the tightrope walkers and the
woman that was shot out of the cannon the best.

Thanks for the tickets Nana and Papa, wish we
could have been in NY at the circus with the rest of the family.

Grace's class put on a circus
performance and it was the cutest show ever!

She was a tightrope walker int the show...

Look, No Training Wheels!

We came home from school on Monday and I decided that it was time for Grace to try to ride her bike without training wheels again. We tried it over the summer and she just wasn't quite ready. This time she was determined! After about 30 minutes of practicing my back ached, so we had to take a break until daddy got home. Daddy came home and in minutes she was riding by herself! I have to think that I did all the leg work, but he sure did have the magic touch.

Proud Daddy

Such a big girl!

Little sister was feeling left out,
so I had to take some pics of her too...

Princesses...

We have had lots of fun meeting princesses these past few weeks!

Lily got tickets to the Princess and Pirate show for her birthday from Nana and Papa, so we've been looking forward to seeing Sophia on stage for a while. I think the girls liked the pirate part of the show just as much as the princesses. It was such a fun girls night out!

They love the movie Frozen and were very excited when we gave them tickets to a tea party with Elsa for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately Grace got sick and couldn't go with Lily and Kate.

Grace had her first "friend" sleepover and woke up with the stomache bug. She threw up and of course I felt horrible!  We made it up to Maddie by bringing her to meet Elsa this past weekend.

All the girls had lots of fun dancing and singing with Elsa!

Fun @ TCBY...

Loving the beautiful weather...

Tooth Fairy

Grace had to have a tooth pulled and "pieces" of a tooth removed from underneath her gums. She has become such a brave girl at the dentist these days and I am soooo proud of how well she did (she was much braver than me)! The anticipation of being able to put a tooth under her pillow made the experience a lot easier!
Waiting...

Getting ready...

She got sick twice on the way home and slept most of the day. She was swollen for a couple days, but was ready to play and run around the next day.

Looking pitiful and can barely smile, but she still let me take a pic.
The next morning she was excited to find some money under her pillow! She has a wiggly tooth, so the tooth fairy may be back some time soon...
