Back to School

The girls started back to school on August 6th. They were excited about seeing their friends and starting school in a new classroom. All of their teachers are wonderful and I am excited about everything they will learn this year at school! The girls did great when I dropped them off and I didn't think I was going to get emotional, but I did. Summers with my girls are so special and I was sad that another one was over. I cherish all the extra time we get to spend together in the summer and I am so thankful for it!

Here Comes Lily!

It was nice that the girls could start school earlier than I had to officially be back at work. They were able to ease in with short days while I was able to get my room set up. I took a few days off before I had to officially go back to work on the 15th. We spent a lot of time at the pool and playing with friends.

We love going to the neighborhood dock and even got a free concert one night.

We are slowly getting back into our school routine and getting to bed on time... 

Columbia Fun

We had a great time visiting with lots of family and friends this weekend. The girls had fun playing together (and also taking breaks from playing to play on I Phones).

We were glad to get a chance to see Savannah who was visiting all the way from Paris.

On Sunday we went to the museum and there was so much to see and do!

Grace and Lily loved talking to the astronaut. 

I think Grace really liked the thought of space 

until she saw the exhibit of "space food."

 And of course they loved some more dancing...

Waterfront Park

 I can't believe I waited this long to take the girls to play in the fountains at Waterfront Park! They had a blast!! We started our day at the Children's Museum and I brought bathing suits in case we wanted to head to the park afterwards. I didn't bring my big camera, but luckily I was able to get a few shots with my phone...
