Easter and Spring Break

This was the first year the Easter Bunny visited our house, the girls were very excited to see what he brought on Easter morning. Our bunny brought some movies, books, bunnies, paint for the tub and a few other goodies...
After all the excitement, we headed to the airport for our trip to NY. For some reason there is always an issue when I fly alone with the girls. This time it was a hungover dude that decided to get sick right before the plane took off. We ended up having to get off the plane so they could clean it and then back on about 45 minutes later for take off. Luckily both girls were well behaved and entertained with snacks, books and talking to other people around us.
I just couldn't wait to get to NY and meet this little man!
James is just so sweet!

The Whole Gang!
Can you tell that Grace loves being around her family?

Also couldn't wait to meet this beauty.
Gabrielle is already a fashionista!

On our trip we had fun playing outside...

Going to White Post Farm...

Going to the aquarium...

The Museum...

The Bronx Zoo...

And just spending time with family...
We ended our trip with the celebration of Gabrielle's Christening. It was great to be able to be a part of this special day since we usually miss out on these occasions.

Can't wait to visit again this summer...

Happy Easter

We have had lots of fun getting ready for Easter!
Here are some pictures from the past week.

Princess Bunny

Wild Bunny
Click here to see Lily last year (not sure why she
makes this face whenever she has bunny ears on?)

Egg-cited about dying eggs!
Egg Time

Time to eat!

Lots of egg hunts...

Grace loves the Easter Bunny(Lily does not)!
I think it is b/c she knows this one isn't real
(she saw his sneakers underneath-
in my opinion he wasn't the cutest bunny)

SISTERS
We are headed to NY tomorrow and can't wait to spend time with family and meet the two newest additions! Hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!

Busy but FUN

We had another busy weekend, but this is always one of my favorites in Charleston. I ran the Cooper River Bridge run with some friends on Saturday which wore me out but was lots of fun! On Sunday we went to the Cajun Festival and got to hang out with the John's Island gang. The weather was beautiful and although we didn't get much accomplished around the house this weekend, it was well worth it!
Christina and Grace

Read to ride the Strawberry
(you should have heard their giggles!)

Hula Hoops!

Grace tried to teach everyone her technique
of jumping up and down to make it stay up...

Time to cool off...
and play with Kevin.

When we got home the girls ran around in the sprinklers
( or sprinkles as Lily calls them).

Grace started tennis lessons on Monday and will start
practicing for the swim team in a few weeks(busy, busy).

Lily is ready to join everything Grace does, but I will
have to keep her busy with other things like riding her bike for now.
