Nana's Visit and Our Move

My mom came for a visit this weekend, which worked out to be the same weekend we moved all our stuff out of storage and into the new house. Brooks and I spent all day Saturday and Sunday unpacking and getting things ready to move into the new house. Grace got to spend lots of time taking walks, going to the pool and playing with her Nana.

I didn't get to take many pictures since I wasn't around much, but here are some "before bedtime" pictures...

We are still moving our things from the townhouse and plan on sleeping in our new house for the first time tomorrow night!

What's New With Grace

Grace is getting to be such a big girl these days! She is saying lots of two word phrases and new words each day. Her new favorite word is "stop" which I guess is better than "no." She loves to sing songs, "Where is Thumpkin?" and "The Wheels on the Bus" are her favorites right now. She has recently shown an interest in the potty after moving up with the two-year olds at school. Grace loves to sit on the potty, wipe and flush...but nothing had been flushed yet. I can't believe how fast she is growing up!

Mimi and Booker

Brooks' parents came for a visit this weekend. I was able to go up to school on Saturday and get all my sub plans ready for when I will be out of work with the baby. Grace had lots of fun playing with her new stroller and baby that they bought her...I think she is going to be a great big sister!

We watched the Gamecocks play on Saturday night.

It was a great game and Grace had fun cheering

even though they took a loss.

On Sunday, we went to the pool.

Grace wanted to wear her glasses which is a rare thing,

so I was glad that I was able to get a shot of it.

On Sunday, the whole family went to Cypress Gardens.

Grace loved seeing all the reptiles and fish. She would go right up the glass to get a closer look and try to touch them. The only thing she seemed to be frightened of was the catfish.

Labor Day Weekend

My parents came down for a visit and brought our niece Alli along. Grace had lots of fun playing with her and misses everyone already. Brooks and I enjoyed some together while we attended Jeff and Katie's rehearsal dinner and wedding. It was a beautiful weekend and such a fun occasion. Brooks even had a chance to play golf two days in a row!

On Saturday, we brought the girls to the

water park for one last time this season.

They had a blast splashing in the water,

but I think the slide was everybody's favorite...

After a long day in the sun, the girls went

for a ride in Grace's new wagon.
