Santa Claus...

Grace was very excited to talk with Santa this year, Lily was not a fan! Grace asked Santa to bring her a barbie phone, red lipstick and a camera. Once Lily calmed down, she asked Santa for a book and shoes. Our elf (whose name keeps changing) is watching carefully to make sure Grace and Lily stay on the good list.

Ready to ride the choo choo...
Lily was much happier riding the train!
While my parents were here we went out to dinner to celebrate Grace's upcoming birthday. She just loves birthdays and is looking forward to her special day!

Thanksgiving

So much to be thankful for! It was so nice to have some time off from work to spend with family. My parents arrived on Wednesday and we spent Thanksgiving day in Columbia. It was a beautiful day and we ate lots of yummy food! Grace decided the seating arrangements, so we ended up with a girls table and a boys table for dinner. With all the delicious food, I hate to say that both kids enjoyed dessert the most.

Parent Watch

Brooks and I went to watch Grace's dance class at school on Tuesday.Luckily I was able to get someone to watch my class because it would have killed me if I had to miss it. She did a great job and Brooks caught it all on video (I am just not good at uploading video to the blog, so pictures will have to do).

Weekend in Columbia

We went to Columbia this weekend and the girls went tailgating for the first time. Although they didn't see the marching band, I think they had lots of fun being outside around all the excitement!

Tailgating Pics...
Brooks went to the game with his buddies from college.
I think they had lots of fun (maybe a little too much).
We watched the game at Mimi and Booker's
house and enjoyed spending time with everyone.

Getting lipstick from Aunt Kelly...
On Sunday we went to the Children's Museum.
There was so much to see and do!

The girls loved this and were staring at themselves on the TV screen. The best part was when Booker went in to dance with them (too bad I missed that shot!)

Weekend go by way too fast!!!

Leftovers from October

We carved two pumpkins. The second time around Grace got into it, and Lily loved to eat the seeds that we cooked.

We had a lots of fun trick-or-treating this year.
Our neighbors let us borrow their golf cart and the girls had a blast

I took Grace to Disney on Ice.
It was nice to have some one on one time with her.
She dressed up as Ariel and had a blast!

Grace told us the other day that she was a "Gamecock."
You should have seen her dad's smile!
