DISNEY - Day 1

Our trip to Disney World was FUN, exhausting, exciting and full of magical memories that I never want to forget! We truly enjoyed every minute and I feel so thankful that we were able to spend this time together as a family.

We drove to Florida after school on September 16th and spent the night with Aunt Lois and Uncle Frankie (we loved seeing them even though it was a short visit). We woke up on Thursday ready to begin our vacation, first stop - The Magic Kingdom!

We were greeted with rain, luckily it didn't last long!

We stayed at the Contemporary Resort which is in walking distance from the Magic Kingdom. The girls loved walking getting wheeled in the stroller, especially on the way home (they would fall asleep every night, it was very convenient to wheel them right up to the room!).
They also loved the monorail which went right through the hotel!

Some of our favorites from the first day:
Journey of The Little Mermaid, Dumbo and meeting Minnie Mouse!

The girls loved playing on the indoor playground before
the Dumbo ride and taking a break from the heat.

They loved getting autographs from all the characters!

We had dinner at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.
The food was great and the entertainment was awesome!!
The girls could barely eat because they were engrossed with the dancers and music.

 Learning to Hula Dance
After dinner we headed back to Magic Kingdom for the electric parade and more rides.

This parade never gets old!

Spinning on the Tea Cups!

I love the castle at night!

The Seven Dwarf's Mine Train was a definite favorite.
Grace looks terrified in these pictures, but we all loved it!!
