Back to School

So thankful that my mom came to watch the girls as I transitioned back to work! The girls had so much with Nana and were able to enjoy the last week of summer with lots of trip to the pool.

Family Fun @ the Bowling Alley

Having fun with Nana

They even planned a surprise early
birthday celebration for me, they were so excited...

everyone had to blow out candles (I must be getting old.)

The girls loved "meeting" their teachers,
although they both met them a few times before.

Mrs. Adams is the BEST!

Lily was so excited to sprinkle her magic jitter glitter
the night before kindergarten, she even shared some with her sister.

I love having both girls at the same school this year.
It makes life a little easier and I love seeing their faces in the hall!!

Ready for a Great Year!

Lily is ready for kindergarten. She is excited to be in class with two friends from preschool and can't wait to learn more about reading and math. I walked her down to class the first two days, but now she can do it all by herself. She is doing great with behavior and earning lots of trips to the treasure box at school. She LOVES when she has homework!

Grace is growing up ways too fast. She is wanting to be more independent these days, but also still likes to be a little girl (at times). The girlsloves music, playing with American girl dolls and being around friends. She is sweet and kind and I am hoping she makes some good friends in her class this year.

This girl has recently found her love for shopping
and picked out her backpack and lunch box all by herself.

Daddy came for the first day, such a sweet man!

LOVE my Job!!

These ladies are going to give lots of
hugs and kisses to my girl this year!!

Tired girl on her first day...

Playdate fun to celebrate a successful week in kindergarten!
Right now the girls are both taking two dance classes and gymnastics- together at the same times. Our schedule is much better than last year, so I am going to enjoy it while it lasts (I'm sure this won't last for long)...
