Back to School and My Birthday

The first weeks back to teaching are always very busy, especially this year with the new programs I am teaching. My birthday always falls on one of these hectic days back to school. Thanks to Brooks I took some time to celebrate and relax. On Friday we went out to dinner with the girls and Kevin and Christina. It was lots of fun and always nice to celebrate with friends. Grace had fun decorating the champagne they bought me with Dora stickers.
Lily had a rough start back to school. She was sick my first week back to work and then took some time to get used to the new early schedule. She is doing better now, but still does not like to nap long at school.
Last week I had to take Lily for her well check visit.
Here are her 10 month stats:
weight: 19 lbs. 12 oz. (60 percentile)
length: 28 1/2 inches (75 percentile)
Her growth is starting to slow down, but she is still higher in percentiles than Grace ever was...

Grace moved up to the next class at school and is enjoying all the new things she can do in her classroom. She has her days when she doesn't want mommy to leave and it just breaks my heart, but she is always having lots of fun when I come to pick her up. She especially loves playing with Play-Doh which we have also been doing a lot at him. Her favorite tools are the knife and scissors...
Her school offers a mobile dance program that she will begin next month. She will take a 45 minute combination class(tap, ballet and jazz) every week and have a dance recital in May. I was going to try to hold off until next year for stuff like this, but I just couldn't resist!
